Mahalia "Yeya" Jean-Pierre is a multi-talented, multi-racial voice actress from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Yeya spent the years of her childhood echoing the voices of her favorite cartoons, singing, and drawing. Her first experience on-stage began while attending a specialized high school centered around the performing arts; majoring in musical theatre.

Yeya's career as a singer/songwriter brought her to her current residence in Los Angeles where she performed in a variety of shows. Yeya's vocal versatility then led her to the beginning of a promising career in voiceover where she realized another facet of her calling. She can be frequently heard in television and radio commercials, and continues to use her voice for her unique and compelling characters in both comedy and drama. Yeya comes from a diverse background of African American, and Portuguese heritage, allowing her to draw from many experiences and stories. In addition to voiceover work, she enjoys modeling, acting, and philanthropic work for homeless youth in her community.
